Job Overview
A Software Developer duties will revolve around building software using code, as well as modifying and fixing errors, adapting it to new hardware, improving its performance, and upgrading interfaces. Working with other departments and reporting back on issues or design. The position will also include keeping the company software updated and maintained.
Reports to:
The Software Developer will report to the Development Team lead as well as frequent interactions with the CEO.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Design and implement along with managing software for the company
Running and evaluating new software programs
Looking for areas that may need modification and improvement and updating them
Developing solutions for issues that may occur within the system
Updating and maintaining current software when needed
Know and have interest in computer systems and the latest technologies
Working closely with other business & system analysts, all other departments, as well as CEO
25-32 hours per week
Qualifications and/or Skills acquired through Internship
Currently studying or a BS/MSs in Computer Science or Computer Software Engineering
Preferred prior experience with JavaScript, Python or Corvid Coding (this will be learned as part of the internship)
Excellent Teamwork skills
Technical Background in software development life-cycle
Ability to learn company platforms quickly: Jira, Trello, Slack, Wix
Interest in current computers and technologies
Good communication skills - written and verbal
Attention to detail
